Roots and More is a high-energy Afro dance collective founded in 2016 by Corinne Danielle Bilitik, known for explosive performances rooted in Ndombolo and Coupé-Décalé. Driven by the motto, "We dance to express, not to impress," the group brings raw energy, rhythm, and cultural power to every stage. Roots and More has performed at major festivals and cultural events including Glastonbury Festival, Wireless Festival, Rugged Fest, Kew Gardens, East London Dance, The Common, and the Commonwealth Headquarters at Westminster Abbey. The collective has also performed alongside several well-known artists, bringing Afro dance into mainstream festival and live music spaces. Alongside performances, Roots and More runs regular classes, sharing a range of African dance styles with diverse communities. Their work creates spaces for expression, confidence, and connection through movement. Bold, vibrant, and rooted in African rhythm, Roots and More transforms every performance into a celebration of culture, unity, and expression.
